Calye Bowen Counseling
Rebuild. Restore. Renew.
I am here to help teenage and adult clients experiencing stress or anxiety and depression due to numerous difficulties, which can impact daily living, ranging from work, interpersonal relationships, physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, and to other various responsibilities. I also practice both premarital and couples counseling. With an emphasis on the therapeutic relationship and examining patterns of interaction, I strive to provide each client with a safe space in which to explore the problems they are facing in order to help them ease the weight and pressure of their experiences, ultimately achieving healing and restoration.
Is Therapy for Me?
There are a lot of reasons to come to counseling, and you do not have to have a mental health disorder or illness to need a safe space to talk and process all of life's ups and downs. These are a few good reasons to come in to counseling, just to name a few.
My thoughts often race or run away with me/I get trapped in my head
I have experienced a recent loss or change
I have been preoccupied or worried about food, exercise, or body image
I often feel worried, angry, or stressed
I have no or few close relationships or find it difficult to create/maintain them
I have low energy and/or motivation or daily life is challenging
My struggles cause embarrassment and/or cause me to avoid others
I have lost interest in what I once enjoyed
My struggles have negatively affected school, work, or relationships
If you answered yes to even one of these, counseling could be for you.
These are difficult things.
You do not have to face the struggle alone.
"God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference."
