Wellspring Counseling Center
Restoring the Source

About Therapy

In the past few years, the reports of mental health difficulties have been skyrocketing to where nearly half of all Americans are reporting moderate to severe symptoms of anxiety, depression, and even relationship distress. Stress levels seems to be at an all-time high and climbing.

At Wellspring, we focus not only on addressing the symptoms of the problem, but tackling the root source of the issue, meeting each client where they are and tailoring therapy to meet their unique goals and needs. We believe this is what leads to lasting change that each client is desperately searching for. We all could use a safe space of our own to process the difficulties of life, and because of this we are here to help and to walk alongside those seeking the healing and restoration of lasting wellness.

Is Therapy for Me?

There are many reasons to come to counseling. It is not just for those who have been diagnosed with a mental health disorder or illness. Life is full of ups and downs, and there is a benefit to processing it with an unbiased, professional to provide insight, clarity, and perspective.

These are a few good reasons to consider counseling, just to name a few:

  • My thoughts often race or run away with me/I get trapped in my head

  • I lay awake at night worrying

  • I have experienced a recent loss or change

  • I find myself withdrawing from those I love

  • I find it difficult to focus

  • I have no motivation and/or tend to procrastinate

  • I have been preoccupied or worried about food, exercise, or body image

  • I often feel worried, angry, or stressed

  • I feel completely overwhelmed

  • Life feels out of control

  • I don't particular like myself

  • I have few or no close relationships or find it difficult to create/maintain them

  • I feel disconnected in my relationships

  • I have low energy and/or motivation or daily life is overwhelmingly challenging

  • My struggles cause embarrassment and/or cause me to avoid others

  • I have lost interest in what I once enjoyed

  • My struggles have negatively affected school, work, or relationships

  • I find things that help for a while, but they stop working over time

If you answered yes to even one of these, counseling could be for you.

These are difficult things.

You do not have to face the struggle alone.
